Ron Paul rips Federal Reserve/Big Government fiat money pyramid scheme and its theft from average Americans via inflation to pay for its racket

Introduction by Chris Moore:

In the following video, Ron Paul explains how the Federal Reserve and Big Government are essentially stealing straight out of the pockets of the American people by way of inflation.

But first, some context.

This inflation is essentially the result of printing the massive amounts of money it takes to pay for leviathan government's grandiose social-engineering projects, wars, and corrupt largesse and pork that ends up lining the pockets of the elites. This money is created, laundered through Big Government and Big Business, and transferred to these thieving "elites" in what amounts to a massive Pyramid scheme built on the backs of average Americans, and at the expense of their children and future generations of Americans.

Here's how the scheme works, and why it is necessary:

--The President, Congress, the Federal Government (Big Government) and Big Business all want more power and money for themselves, and they want to plunder the good credit built up by previous generations of Americans and the United States itself to pay for it.

--They recognize they can temporarily get away with this plunder because the dollar is the world reserve currency thanks to the sacrifices of previous generations of Americans that put the U.S. in the geopolitical cat-bird seat, earned the U.S. incredible credit, and put the dollar in demand across the entire globe for all manner of transactions.

--The last couple of generations of so-called "elites" were faced with a choice: Protect the dollar as the world reserve currency by spending moderately and responsibly, by keeping government small and responsible, and by maintaining American industry, free enterprise and general geopolitical moderation,

OR

--Plunder the dollar and future Americans in order to create a temporal Empire of luxury, Big Government and Big Business that will line their own pockets, enable their self-aggrandizement and self-gratification, make them feel like big shots and gods on earth, and pay for their narcissistic pet projects and ego trips.

Guess which route the elites of the Worst Generation (except for about five people, one of which is Ron Paul) took? And guess which generations are left to suffer for the vainglorious megalomania of the big shot reprobates "elites" that have plundered the country and its prospects, all because they wanted "live large" on the sacrifices of those who came before them (and who intended that America would prosper not merely for a few nihilistic decades, but for at least a few hundred years)?

But thanks to sleazy economic snake oil salesmen like Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan and their ilk greasing the skids, the Worst Generation has managed to blow the American wad in record time, and now it's all over but the shouting.

So here's Ron Paul with a little bit of the shouting...

Corrupt establishment is hell-bent on stopping Ron Paul in order to milk their racket to its last drop before final collapse

From:
The Media And GOP Are Suppressing The Reality That Ron Paul Has Reached Critical Mass

(The Excavator) -- by Saman Mohammadi --

What lies ahead for America, the West, and humanity in the immediate future is pain, disease, suffering, and destruction. A looming hyper-inflationary financial crisis, a world war, a global economic collapse, and a transnational fascist police state are threatening to destroy the social and political fabric of Western civilization.

This is the greatest political crisis that the West has ever faced. Government leaders are walking on pins and needles, hoping to avoid a transnational political revolution against the international banks that defrauded American taxpayers and the taxpayers of other nations.

Financial and political analysts such as Gerald Celente, Paul Craig Roberts, Lew Rockwell, Max Keiser, Alex Jones, and many others predict that there will be vast political and social changes in the near future. Such sweeping changes will be the natural consequence of the 21st century intellectual revolution which has deconstructed totalitarian myths and narratives.

Most people realize that the global war on terror and global warming myths have been created for the purposes of mass manipulation and political control of the world. The shameless power-seekers in government and the corporate world can only maintain the credibility of these civilizational myths by enforcing widespread political censorship, which is impossible in the Age of the Internet.

So far, very few political leaders have emerged to speak for the global political awakening and spearhead the global political and monetary revolution. The man who has been carrying the torch for the longest time and has the greatest amount of political energy behind him is Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is no longer a lone voice in the political wilderness. He is not a lion without a pride in these dark days. He is not fighting the good fight alone in an empty room anymore. Ron Paul is now a shepherd who is leading millions of politically aware individuals in America and around the world out of the dark woods of economic ignorance and political tyranny.

The rise of Ron Paul is a great American success story. Throughout his political and medical career, Dr. Paul has lived the philosophy of the dark horse. Steady in stride, and determined in mission, the dark horse is the political world's most noble creature. The Spirit of Endurance sets apart the dark horse from the rest of the field.

Ron Paul is clearly leaving the competition behind in the 2012 Republican presidential race. Dr. Paul has won the hearts and minds of the nation and of the world by the sheer force of his independent will and the integrity of his arguments. Dr. Paul's plan to reconstruct America's foreign policy and financial infrastructure based on constitutional principles has caught on like wildfire with the American people.

But the established system of fraud and war is resisting Ron Paul's rise with: fraud and war.

The frightened GOP establishment and state-run mass media are using fraudulent means to contain the fire of freedom that Ron Paul has started, while picking an unnecessary fight with Iran to boost Obama's weak leadership credentials during an election year...MORE...LINK

Wyoming state government prepares for "doomsday" collapse of federal authority, U.S. dollar

From:
Wyoming Advances "Doomsday" Bill for Potential U.S. Collapse

(The New American) -- by Alex Newman --

Lawmakers in the Wyoming House of Representatives approved a bill on Monday for the second time to explore how the state might respond to a possible “doomsday” scenario such as the economic or political collapse of America. Some of the potential responses to be considered include the issuance of an alternative currency in the event of a dollar meltdown or how the state might deal with a “constitutional crisis.”

If the legislation becomes law, a special task force would be formed consisting of state Representatives, state Senators, and several key members of the executive branch, including the Wyoming National Guard. The commission would be charged with considering various scenarios and preparing a report on its findings and recommendations by December of this year.

Among the hypothetical developments cited in the legislation to be considered by the panel are the potential effects of "the rapid decline of the United States dollar and the ability to quickly provide an alternative currency." A situation in which the federal government crumbles would also be examined.

Other scenarios to be considered include a potential “constitutional crisis” and disruptions in food or energy distribution. An amendment to the bill that was later removed even called for the task force to examine “conditions under which the state of Wyoming should implement a draft, raise a standing army, marine corps, navy and air force and acquire strike aircraft and an aircraft carrier.”

The original sponsor of the bill, Republican State Rep. David Miller, told the Casper Star-Tribune that such catastrophic scenarios are unlikely to strike America anytime soon. But with Washington D.C.’s out-of-control budget deficits and a national debt that is now officially larger than the nation’s GDP and growing — not to mention the unfunded liabilities estimated in the hundreds of trillions — the situation could turn ugly very rapidly.

“Things happen quickly sometimes — look at Libya, look at Egypt, look at those situations,” Rep. Miller told the newspaper. “We wouldn’t have time to meet as a legislature or even in special session to do anything to respond.”

As protests continue to grow across America and wealthy individuals flee the nation in increasing numbers, the trend is ominous, Miller explained. Meanwhile, economic and social problems could keep growing to the point where they spiral out of control. And Wyoming needs to be ready just in case, he said.

Then there is the monetary system. In recent years, the Federal Reserve System has accelerated its creation of vast sums of new debt-based money. Literally trillions of dollars has been used — without so much as congressional approval — to bail out big banks, foreign central banks, and financial institutions, and even mega-corporations outside the banking system.

The U.S. dollar, which today functions as the world reserve currency, has been steadily losing value over the years — well over 90 percent of its purchasing power evaporated since the central banking cartel seized power in 1913. And confidence in Federal Reserve Notes and the institution that issues them has plunged around the globe in recent years.

“If we continue down this course, this is the way any society ends up — with a valueless currency,” Miller told the Star-Tribune. So the state government needs to at least consider the prospect. Citizens and taxpayers deserve nothing less...MORE...LINK

Majority of world, Americans and Westerners oppose war path with Iran, but Israel lobby-corrupted politicians won't be swayed by democracy

(By Chris Moore) -- Juan Cole has an interesting graphic up at his blog Informed Comment. It shows that the majority of the world is opposed to the war path with Iran.

And really, the majority of Western peoples are opposed to the war path with Iran, as well. The only interests supporting it are the Israel lobby and its fifth column around the centers of power, the corrupt politicians they have bought off, and their various left-right useful idiots who are either blinkered, brainwashed and ignorant, or in thrall to the corrupt politicians whom the Zionists have compromised.

As Simon Tisdall reports in the Guardian:
A recent analysis of US public opinion revealed deeply ambivalent attitudes on Iran, with the majority of Americans apparently favouring diplomatic solutions. Yet as Republican presidential candidates exploit the issue, as the Israelis lobby America, and as Iranian factions manoeuvre ahead of parliamentary polls, the likelihood grows that doves and doubters will again be either converted or ignored.
And it's not just neocon Republicans who are hawkish on Iran at the behest of ideological Zionism and the Israel lobby, but bought-off liberal politicos, as well.

Zev Chafets notes in Newsweek's Daily Beast:
The Washington Post has estimated that Jews provide 60 percent of the party’s major individual contributions. The actual stat, according to a Democratic insider privy to unreleased research, puts the figure closer to 80 percent. In 2004, when so-called 527 organizations provided the biggest contributions, four Democratic donors—George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steven Bing, and the Sandler family—coughed up $73 million, more than the next 20 contributors, Republican and Democratic, combined. Jews are not simply supporters of the Democratic Party. They are stakeholders...Most Jewish Democrats are fans of Israel. When the team is doing well, they are glad to join the parade.
The determined and disciplined Israel-first cult has learned that modern Western politicians are nothing but politically correct whores who will sell their souls and sell out their own countries for a pittance, so buying wars on behalf of Israel and the larger Zionist agenda is relatively easy and cheap so long as the filthy lucre is spread around in the right areas.

The old adage, "One rotten apple spoils the barrel" applies doubly in the halls of politically correct, money-worshipping modern Western governmental power, only it should be modified to read "One wealthy, rotten lobby spoils the democracy."

War is a racket that enriches and empowers the low-cunning elements of society, and impoverishes and kills off the patriots and upstanding citizenry

Introduction by Chris Moore:

In a video I recently posted on this site, Pat Buchanan discusses the steep economic and social decline of America since it was lied into Middle East wars by the corrupt two party regime in Washington, with support from powerful elements within the larger liberal-neocon State Capitalist and crony corporatist establishment. He points out that even as the bottom has fallen out from under America since, China and India have seen an economic and social boom.

After retiring from the military and touring the U.S. to visit those lives, families and communities still devastated by WWI and then devastated again by the Great Depression that followed the post-war "boom" like night follows day, Smedley Butler published the pamphlet War Is A Racket in 1935, which I have excerpted below. He makes clear that it is not the average person who benefits from war, but rather the most greedy, scurrilous, ruthless and sociopathic elements of society who profit and are empowered whenever a country is thrust into massive conflict.

Some people wonder why Western civilization is dying, even as Asia is now thriving.

Shouldn't it be crystal clear by now?

Warmongering militancy has enriched, empowered and promoted the most selfish, corrupt and venal elements into the "leadership" of society, sent off many of the patriots to be killed or broken in battle on foreign soil, and marginalized the sane, grounded and responsible elements who can see the big picture and aren't warped by greed, short-term thinking, a taste for quick profits, and a perverse, primal desire to incite massive bloodshed at every opportunity.

In short, an "elite" of parasitic, reptilian sociopaths that cares only about its self-enrichment, self-aggrandizement and egomania has long since been running the show in the the West, and will continue to ravage and suck the economy and life from American and Western civilization until it is turned into an empty husk of its former self and finally collapses and dies off completely, or until the People rise up and smite the self-serving Parasite Class that is leading us to bankruptcy and ruin, and has been for quite some time.

Butler helps capture the essence of the Parasite Class below, and how it exploits, manipulates, victimizes and plunders the responsible and decent folk.

What we should take from his writing is the hard-learned Western lesson that it is ultimately up to the decent, peaceable folk to organize, defend and ultimately aggress against the savage predators to restore law, order and sanity to their environment, or accept their own enslavement and annihilation at the hands of a more vigorous and ruthless species so highly adept at destruction.

Has Western civilization deteriorated too far and been too systematically corrupted from within now to resist and repel the parasitic, self-serving Zionist and Globalist predators within? Is the tank now empty? Or will the People rally and do what needs to be done to restore democracy and the rule of law by seizing back their government and their country, and purging the contemporary sociopathic "elites" from the seats of power they are currently using to plunder and destroy their own constituents?

Will America survive, or continue to deteriorate and ultimately collapse at the hands of the cunning, criminal gangsters who have slowly and systematically seized the power and moral authority from the People in order to line their own pockets and engineer Western demise by way of internal corruption and plunder?

We shall see.

WAR IS A RACKET

(lexrex.com) -- Written by Two-Time Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Major General Smedley D. Butler, published 1935

WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.

In the World War [I] a mere handful garnered the profits of the conflict. At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War. That many admitted their huge blood gains in their income tax returns. How many other war millionaires falsified their tax returns no one knows.

How many of these war millionaires shouldered a rifle? How many of them dug a trench? How many of them knew what it meant to go hungry in a rat-infested dug-out? How many of them spent sleepless, frightened nights, ducking shells and shrapnel and machine gun bullets? How many of them parried a bayonet thrust of an enemy? How many of them were wounded or killed in battle?

Out of war nations acquire additional territory, if they are victorious. They just take it. This newly acquired territory promptly is exploited by the few – the selfsame few who wrung dollars out of blood in the war. The general public shoulders the bill.

And what is this bill?

This bill renders a horrible accounting. Newly placed gravestones. Mangled bodies. Shattered minds. Broken hearts and homes. Economic instability. Depression and all its attendant miseries. Back-breaking taxation for generations and generations.

For a great many years, as a soldier, I had a suspicion that war was a racket; not until I retired to civil life did I fully realize it. Now that I see the international war clouds gathering, as they are today, I must face it and speak out...

Yes, they are getting ready for another war. Why shouldn't they? It pays high dividends.

But what does it profit the men who are killed? What does it profit their mothers and sisters, their wives and their sweethearts? What does it profit their children?

What does it profit anyone except the very few to whom war means huge profits?

Yes, and what does it profit the nation?

Take our own case. Until 1898 we didn't own a bit of territory outside the mainland of North America. At that time our national debt was a little more than $1,000,000,000. Then we became "internationally minded." We forgot, or shunted aside, the advice of the Father of our country. We forgot George Washington's warning about "entangling alliances." We went to war. We acquired outside territory. At the end of the World War period, as a direct result of our fiddling in international affairs, our national debt had jumped to over $25,000,000,000. Our total favorable trade balance during the twenty-five-year period was about $24,000,000,000. Therefore, on a purely bookkeeping basis, we ran a little behind year for year, and that foreign trade might well have been ours without the wars.

It would have been far cheaper (not to say safer) for the average American who pays the bills to stay out of foreign entanglements. For a very few this racket, like bootlegging and other underworld rackets, brings fancy profits, but the cost of operations is always transferred to the people – who do not profit...

Who provides the profits – these nice little profits of 20, 100, 300, 1,500 and 1,800 per cent? We all pay them – in taxation. We paid the bankers their profits when we bought Liberty Bonds at $100.00 and sold them back at $84 or $86 to the bankers. These bankers collected $100 plus. It was a simple manipulation. The bankers control the security marts. It was easy for them to depress the price of these bonds. Then all of us – the people – got frightened and sold the bonds at $84 or $86. The bankers bought them. Then these same bankers stimulated a boom and government bonds went to par – and above. Then the bankers collected their profits.

But the soldier pays the biggest part of the bill.

If you don't believe this, visit the American cemeteries on the battlefields abroad. Or visit any of the veteran's hospitals in the United States. On a tour of the country, in the midst of which I am at the time of this writing, I have visited eighteen government hospitals for veterans. In them are a total of about 50,000 destroyed men – men who were the pick of the nation eighteen years ago. The very able chief surgeon at the government hospital; at Milwaukee, where there are 3,800 of the living dead, told me that mortality among veterans is three times as great as among those who stayed at home.

Boys with a normal viewpoint were taken out of the fields and offices and factories and classrooms and put into the ranks. There they were remolded; they were made over; they were made to "about face"; to regard murder as the order of the day. They were put shoulder to shoulder and, through mass psychology, they were entirely changed. We used them for a couple of years and trained them to think nothing at all of killing or of being killed.

Then, suddenly, we discharged them and told them to make another "about face" ! This time they had to do their own readjustment, sans [without] mass psychology, sans officers' aid and advice and sans nation-wide propaganda. We didn't need them any more. So we scattered them about without any "three-minute" or "Liberty Loan" speeches or parades. Many, too many, of these fine young boys are eventually destroyed, mentally, because they could not make that final "about face" alone.

In the government hospital in Marion, Indiana, 1,800 of these boys are in pens! Five hundred of them in a barracks with steel bars and wires all around outside the buildings and on the porches. These already have been mentally destroyed. These boys don't even look like human beings. Oh, the looks on their faces! Physically, they are in good shape; mentally, they are gone.

There are thousands and thousands of these cases, and more and more are coming in all the time. The tremendous excitement of the war, the sudden cutting off of that excitement – the young boys couldn't stand it.

That's a part of the bill. So much for the dead – they have paid their part of the war profits. So much for the mentally and physically wounded – they are paying now their share of the war profits. But the others paid, too – they paid with heartbreaks when they tore themselves away from their firesides and their families to don the uniform of Uncle Sam – on which a profit had been made. They paid another part in the training camps where they were regimented and drilled while others took their jobs and their places in the lives of their communities. The paid for it in the trenches where they shot and were shot; where they were hungry for days at a time; where they slept in the mud and the cold and in the rain – with the moans and shrieks of the dying for a horrible lullaby...MORE...LINK

Tired of being used and abused by Obama and the neocons, Ron Paul is choice of the U.S. Military

From:
Ron Paul: The choice of the troops

(The Washington Times) -- by Conor Murphy --

WASHINGTON, January 22, 2012—Anyone who believes that Ron Paul's foreign policy is a sign of weakness, or that he does not have the courage to defend this country, should talk to Dr. Paul's military supporters. More than 1,500 supporters showed up at the march on the White House in support of Congressman Paul.

Among them were over 400 active duty or retired military members participating in the rally. None of them were timid about their support of the only military veteran in the race for the Presidency.

“We support him because he supports us!” exclaimed Corporal Jesse Thorton in his speech supporting Ron Paul. Echoing the theme of the march, Thorton also said, “Ron Paul is the choice of the troops.”

Paul's supporters gathered at the Washington Monument and then marched to the White House with the troops in the lead. Those who provided proof of military service then fell into a formation facing away from the White House. The formation of over 400 troops stood at salute one second for every military victim of suicide while Obama has been President. This lasted for over eight minutes.

They then stood at parade rest in silent prayer for another 21 minutes to honor every troop who had died in combat during the Obama administration. When asked how he felt the march went, co-founder of Veterans for Ron Paul, Nathan Cox was very pleased. “I think it was awesome. We had over 400 troops in formation.”

Veterans for Ron Paul is not done planning events and preparing for activism. Asked what the group had planned next, Cox said that there were tentative plans to have troops march at the Republican National Convention in August, and organizers are asking troops to participate in other activities as well.

“We're still encouraging active duty troops to make YouTube videos about why they support Dr. Paul for President.”

While not speaking in an official capacity, Adam Kokesh, one of the event organizers, had this to say: “If the grand old party supports the troops enough to listen to them, then Ron Paul will be our next President.”

Kokesh also had some words aimed directly at the current occupant of the White House. “Do not think for one second that you can silence this voice!”

Ron Paul supporters at the march gave several reasons for their support. One man spoke of military blowback. “When we occupy other sovereign nations, we make many enemies who are then intent on attacking the United States.”

Another supporter was the wife of a military chaplain. She carried a sign listing the negative effects that being in the military can have on families. These included increased rates of suicide, post traumatic stress disorder, and a high divorce rate (62%)...MORE...LINK

Corrupt left-right establishment systematically marginalizes independent thinking and legitimate criticism by labeling them "conspiracy theory"

From:
Today’s Scarlet Letter is ‘Conspiracy Theorist’

(mouselink) -- by Matteo Wyllyamz --

It’s time for us to decide if we really want a free Internet. Certainly many of us do. Some of us think we do, but we don’t really understand what this entails or what the consequences might be. Then there is a rising tide of increasingly loud voices who do not believe in an unfettered, level playing field for human ideas, who are frightened by the radical extremes of people’s opinions, and who would seek to control thought itself. Some of these folks would like to fundamentally change our online lives as we know them.

In seeking to control human thought, we are really trying to regulate humanity, to restrain life itself in an attempt to rein in the infinite informational interactions of the universe. I dare say, humans do not have this ability. Throughout history, would-be controllers always lose control, and are defeated by the power and complexity of chaos. As the fictional character Dr. Ian Malcolm said in _Jurassic Park_, “If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us, it’s that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, expands to new territories, and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously. … Life finds a way.”

The history of our race could be described as a futile, yet reoccurring attempt to control everything, by those who want to administer that control, over those who do not wish to be controlled. And in the minds of the would-be overseers, freedom of speech is dangerous, because in their view, people are not smart enough to be trusted to form “correct” opinions. Some ideas are just too malignant, and therefore must be oppressed at all cost. Other beliefs simply do not serve the self-preservation of the system. This is merely political correctness tending towards its logical end.

And so there is always a great deal of pressure from the current establishment on us as individuals to conform to mainstream ideals. Most often, the people who don’t are mocked and insulted, and this is the way it has been done for millennia. Today, of course, it’s often done on the Internet, through message boards, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and the like.

Those who do not adhere to officially sanctioned views are rarely described as free thinkers, non-conformists, dissenters, mavericks, rebels, or even ideologues. Rather, we’ve invented more colorful descriptors in our attempts to mock and suppress them.

We call such people kooks, oddballs, crackpots, nutjobs, tinfoil hatters, or cranks. Snake oil salesmen. When we want to sound more sophisticated and intellectual, we accuse people of “denialism,” or we leverage buzzwords like “extremist,” “pseudoscience,” or “fringe.”

But these are simply code words — insults thinly disguised — that have the same intention as the more fractious aspersions: to discredit someone without the use of reason or intellectual argument. People who study logical fallacies call these ad hominem attacks. Instead of debating the validity of a person’s ideas, we attack the person. And that is not an argument at all.

Insults work well for those who regularly preach to the converted, because this maneuver does nothing to change anyone’s mind about anything. In that way, it’s safe. Easier to simply mouth off at somebody, rather than attempt a logical assertion. These tactics simply inflame and entrench, and that only adds to the futility of using them. When I see someone insulting another person in a discussion, it immediately tells me, that’s the best they’ve got.

And now “conspiracy theorist” has become the granddaddy of all ad hominem attacks. It’s the ultimate label, the new scarlet letter that we can pin on someone we desire to marginalize and ostracize. We can pretty much deny the validity of what anyone says with this phrase. As long as the person’s opinion lies outside of predominant views, we can merely utter, “Oh, that’s just a conspiracy theory,” and then act like the argument is over.

Perhaps the opposite should be true.

Popular opinion, or the societally/politically acceptable mainstream way of thinking, has a pretty dismal track record. If we want to enthrone consensus as some kind of absolute ruler over what is acceptable for us to think and speak, then it seems like we’ll have to undo every major paradigm shift that’s taken place throughout human history. In reality, those who question the status quo are often history’s heroes. Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Darwin, and Einstein all questioned and overturned scientific consensus...MORE...LINK

Once promising "American Century" has turned to moral travesty and disaster zone in less than 70 years; Who's accountable?

From:
The American Century Is Over—Good Riddance

(The Chronicle) -- by Andrew J. Bacevich --

As someone who teaches both history and international relations, I have one foot in each camp. I'm interested in what has already happened. And I'm interested in what will happen next. In my teaching and my writing, I try to locate connecting tissue that links past to present. Among the devices I've employed to do that is the concept of an "American Century."

That evocative phrase entered the American lexicon back in February 1941, the title of an essay appearing in Life magazine under the byline of the publishing mogul Henry Luce. In advancing the case for U.S. entry into World War II, the essay made quite a splash, as Luce intended. Yet the rush of events soon transformed "American Century" into much more than a bit of journalistic ephemera. It became a summons, an aspiration, a claim, a calling, and ultimately the shorthand identifier attached to an entire era. By the time World War II ended in 1945, the United States had indeed ascended—as Luce had forecast and perhaps as fate had intended all along—to a position of global primacy. Here was the American Century made manifest.

I love Luce's essay. I love its preposterous grandiosity. I delight in Luce's utter certainty that what we have is what they want, need, and, by gum, are going to get. "What can we say and foresee about an American Century?" he asks. "It must be a sharing with all peoples of our Bill of Rights, our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, our magnificent industrial products, our technical skills." I love, too, the way Luce guilelessly conjoins politics and religion, the son of Protestant missionaries depicting the United States as the Redeemer Nation. "We must undertake now to be the Good Samaritan of the entire world." How to do that? To Luce it was quite simple. He pronounced it America's duty "as the most powerful and vital nation in the world ... to exert upon the world the full impact of our influence, for such purposes as we see fit and by such means as we see fit." Would God or Providence have it any other way?

Luce's essay manages to be utterly ludicrous and yet deeply moving. Above all, this canonical assertion of singularity—identifying God's new Chosen People—is profoundly American. (Of course, I love Life in general. Everyone has a vice. Mine is collecting old copies of Luce's most imaginative and influential creation—and, yes, my collection includes the issue of February 17, 1941.)

Alas, the bracing future that Luce confidently foresaw back in 1941 has in our own day slipped into the past. If an American Century ever did exist, it's now ended. History is moving on—although thus far most Americans appear loath to concede that fact.

Historians should be the first to acknowledge the difficulty of identifying historical turning points. In the spring of 2003, around the time U.S. troops were occupying Saddam Hussein's various palaces, President George W. Bush felt certain he'd engineered one. More than a few otherwise-sober observers agreed. But "Mission Accomplished" turned out to be "Mission Just Begun." Those who celebrated the march on Baghdad as a world-altering feat of arms ended up with egg on their faces.

Still, I'm willing to bet that future generations will look back on the period between 2006 and 2008 as the real turning point. Here was the moment when what remained of the American Century ran out of steam and ground to a halt. More specifically, when Bush gave up on victory in Iraq (thereby abandoning expectations of U.S. military power transforming the Greater Middle East) and when the Great Recession brought the U.S. economy to its knees (the consequences of habitual profligacy coming home to roost), Luce's formulation lost any resemblance to reality.

Politicians insist otherwise, of course. Has the American Century breathed its last? Mitt Romney, front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, leaves no room for doubt where he stands on the matter:

I am guided by one overwhelming conviction and passion: This century must be an American Century. In an American Century, America has the strongest economy and the strongest military in the world. In an American Century, America leads the free world and the free world leads the entire world. ... This is America's moment. We should embrace the challenge, not shrink from it, not crawl into an isolationist shell, not wave the white flag of surrender, nor give in to those who assert America's time has passed. That is utter nonsense.

Foremost among those waving that white flag of surrender, according to Romney, is President Barack Obama. Yet Obama's expressed views align closely with those of his would-be challenger. "America is back," the president declared during his recent State of the Union address. "Anyone who tells you otherwise, anyone who tells you that America is in decline or that our influence has waned, doesn't know what they're talking about."

As with most contemporary political speeches, this qualifies as pure malarkey. Among the conjurers of imperial dreams in Washington, the American Century might live on. In places like Newark or Cleveland or Detroit, where real people live, it's finished...

What does the passing of the American Century hold? To answer that question, inquisitive students of international relations might turn for instruction to television commercials now being aired by Allstate Insurance. The ads feature a character called Mayhem, who unbeknownst to you, hangs onto the side of your car or perches on your rooftop concocting mischief. The message is clear. Be alert: Mayhem is always lurking in your path.

Throughout the American Century, Mayhem mocked U.S. strategic pretensions. His agents infiltrated the National Security Council, sowing falsehoods. Mayhem whispered in the ear of whoever happened to occupy the Oval Office. When the Joint Chiefs of Staff met in the "Tank," he had a seat at the table. Mayhem freely roamed the halls of the Capitol (although Congressional dysfunction of our own day may have rendered such efforts redundant).

Having learned nothing from the American Century, present-day strategists—the ones keen to bomb Iran, confront China, and seize control of outer space as the "ultimate high ground"—will continue the practice of doing Mayhem's bidding. As usual, the rest of us will be left to cope with the havoc that results, albeit this time without the vast reserves of wealth and power that once made an American Century appear plausible. Brace yourself...MORE...LINK

Bacevich is too diplomatic or politically correct to say it, but "Mayem" is Zionism, principally the Diaspora Zionist syndicate and its Israeli lodestar, and their sickening left-right accomplices and useful idiots.

Israel first-dominated mainstream media purges two more anti-fascist voices of dissent

From:
Silencing The Critics

(Institute for Political Economy) -- by Paul Craig Roberts --

In 2010 the FBI invaded the homes of peace activists in several states and seized personal possessions in what the FBI–the lead orchestrator of fake “terrorist plots”–called an investigation of “activities concerning the material support of terrorism.”

Subpoenas were issued to compel antiwar protestors to testify before grand juries as prosecutors set about building their case that opposing Washington’s wars of aggression constitutes giving aid and comfort to terrorists. The purpose of the raids and grand jury subpoenas was to chill the anti-war movement into inaction.

Last week in one fell swoop the last two remaining critics of Washington/Tel Aviv imperialism were removed from the mainstream media. Judge Napolitano’s popular program, Freedom Watch, was cancelled by Fox TV, and Pat Buchanan was fired by MSNBC. Both pundits had wide followings and were appreciated for speaking frankly.

Many suspect that the Israel Lobby used its clout with TV advertisers to silence critics of the Israeli government’s efforts to lead Washington to war with Iran. Regardless, the point before us is that the voice of the mainstream media is now uniform. Americans hear one voice, one message, and the message is propaganda. Dissent is tolerated only on such issues as to whether employer-paid health benefits should pay for contraceptive devices. Constitutional rights have been replaced with rights to free condoms.

The western media demonizes those at whom Washington points a finger. The lies pour forth to justify Washington’s naked aggression: the Taliban are conflated with al Qaeda, Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction, Gaddafi is a terrorist and, even worse, fortified his troops with Viagra in order to commit mass rape against Libyan women.

President Obama and members of Congress along with Tel Aviv continue to assert that Iran is making a nuclear weapon despite public contradiction by the US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and the CIA’s National Intelligence Estimate. According to news reports, Pentagon chief Leon Panetta told members of the House of Representatives on February 16 that “Tehran has not made a decision to proceed with developing a nuclear weapon.” http://www.denverpost.com/nationworld/ci_19978801?source=rss However, in Washington facts don’t count. Only the material interests of powerful interest groups matter.

At the moment the american Ministry of Truth is splitting its time between lying about Iran and lying about Syria. Recently, there were some explosions in far away Thailand, and the explosions were blamed on Iran. Last October the FBI announced that the bureau had uncovered an Iranian plot to pay a used car salesman to hire a Mexican drug gang to kill the Saudi Ambassador to the US. The White House idiot professed to believe the unbelievable plot and declared that he had “strong evidence,” but no evidence was ever released. The purpose for announcing the non-existent plot was to justify Obama’s sanctions, which amount to an embargo–an act of war–against Iran for developing nuclear energy.

As a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty, Iran has the right to develop nuclear energy. IAEA inspectors are permanently in Iran and report no diversion of nuclear material to a weapons program.

In other words, according to the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the US National Intelligence Estimate, and the current Secretary of Defense, there is no evidence that Iran has nukes or is making nukes. Yet, Obama has placed illegal sanctions on Iran and continues to threaten Iran with military attack on the basis of an accusation that is contradicted by all known evidence.

How can such a thing happen? It can happen because there is no Helen Thomas, who also was eliminated by the Israel Lobby, to question, as a member of the White House press, President Obama why he placed war-like sanctions on Iran when his own CIA and his own Secretary of Defense, along with the IAEA, report that there is no basis for the sanctions.

The idea that the US is a democracy when it most definitely does not have a free watchdog press is laughable. But the media is not laughing. It is lying. Just like the government, every time the US mainstream media opens its mouth or writes one word, it is lying. Indeed, its corporate masters pay its employees to tell lies. That is their job. Tell the truth, and you are history like Buchanan and Napolitano and Helen Thomas...MORE...LINK

Ron Paul: U.S. "slipping into a fascist system where it’s a combination of government, big business and authoritarian rule"

From:
Corporatocracy: Ron Paul says US ‘slipping into fascism’

(RT.com) -- by Katerina Azarova --

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul slammed America's system of governance at a rally in Kansas City, saying businesses and government are pushing the country into twenty-first century fascism.

But before you start picturing fair-skinned, blue-eyed CEOs and bureaucrats running amok and with their right arms held high, calm down. What the outspoken Texas Republican meant was fascist corporatism – an economic model most prominently seen in Mussolini’s Italy of the 1920s to the 1940s. Fascist economic corporatism involved government and private management of full sectors of the economy – which Paul says is par for the course in today's America.

“We’ve slipped away from a true republic,” Paul told thousands of his supporters at the rally. “Now we’re slipping into a fascist system where it’s a combination of government, big business and authoritarian rule, and the suppression of the individual rights of each and every American citizen.”

His words, which a few years ago might have been dismissed by most, rang loud and clear in Kansas. Paul’s rally coincided with long-established Missouri and Kansas GOP events – from which many attendees actually slipped away to hear Paul deliver his speech. Drawn out and bled dry by ongoing and expensive overseas military campaigns, Americans are more and more receptive to a foreign policy of peace, which is what Paul promises to deliver.

The presidential hopeful echoed words already once delivered to the American people – by their president. Dwight Eisenhower said, in his farewell address to the nation, “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”

The disastrous rise, it seems, has happened. In 2009 alone, the United States was responsible for almost half of the world’s total military spending – 46 per cent, or 712 billion US dollars. Since then, the figures have only grown, to the point that American military spending now exceeds that of China, Russia, Japan, India, and the rest of NATO combined. The US has more than 700 military bases in 130 countries around the world.

But, one might ask, can’t the American government – which oversees the world's highest gross domestic product – afford some extra military spending?
The simple answer is: no.

The wealthiest nation also happens to have the biggest national debt in world history. With the dollar acting as a global reserve currency, the Federal Reserve leaving the printing press running around the clock, and manufacturing and production being outsourced to cheap foreign labor markets, the US economy looks more like a Ponzi scheme. And as former president George W. Bush told his Argentine counterpart Nestor Kirchner, "The best way to revitalize the economy is war, and the US has grown stronger with war."

But Americans are tired of war – and are tired of waiting for the magical day when war will magically revive the economy. Which is why Ron Paul may have found the perfect note to strike with voters as he continues to fight in the Republican primaries...LINK

Want to know where hopelessly corrupt and incompetent Washington is leading us tomorrow? Take a look at Detroit today

From:
20 Things We Can Learn About The Future Of America From The Death Of Detroit

(The Economic Collapse) -- by ?

Do you want to know what the future of America is going to look like? Just check out what is happening to Detroit. The city of Detroit was once one of the greatest industrial cities in the history of the world, but today it is a rotting, decaying, post-apocalyptic hellhole. Nearly half the men are unemployed, nearly half the population is functionally illiterate, more than half of the children are living in poverty and the city government is drowning in debt. As economic conditions have gotten worse, crime has absolutely exploded. Every single night in Detroit there are frightening confrontations between desperate criminals and exasperated homeowners. Unfortunately, the police force in Detroit has been dramatically reduced in size. When the police in Detroit are called, they often show up very late if they even show up at all. Detroit has become a lawless hellhole where violence is the currency of the streets. If you want to survive in Detroit, you better be ready to fight because there are hordes of desperate criminals that are quite eager to take literally everything that you have got. But don't look down on Detroit too much, because what is happening in Detroit will soon be happening all over America.

The following are 20 things we can learn about the future of America from the death of Detroit....

#1 People don't want to live where the stench of failure and decay is constantly in the air. Back in the 1950s, Detroit was a teeming metropolis of approximately 2 million people. According to the 2010 census, only 713,000 people live in Detroit today. The U.S. Census Bureau says that Detroit lost a resident every 22 minutes during the first decade of this century.

#2 When the economy falls apart, desperate people will do desperate things and many homeowners will fight back. Justifiable homicide in Detroit rose by a staggering 79 percent during 2011.

#3 In major cities where people are scrambling just to survive, any confrontation can quickly escalate into a life or death affair. The rate of self-defense killings in Detroit is currently 2200% above the national average.

#4 When there is not enough money to go around, a lot of local governments will choose to cut back on police protection. Ten years ago, there were approximately 5,000 police for the city of Detroit. Today, there are less than 3,000.

#5 The essential social services that you are enjoying today will not always be there in the future. Officials in Detroit recently announced that due to budget constraints, all police stations will be closed to the public for 16 hours a day...MORE...LINK

Syria conflict turning into a standoff between Russia, China, Iran vs. Washington, Brussels, Israel

From:
Russia, China and Iran back Assad

(Reuters) --

Russia, China and Iran showed support for Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s president, on Monday, just days before an international meeting which is likely to put more pressure on him to step down amid an increasingly bloody uprising.

Mr Assad met a senior Russian politician in Damascus, who reiterated Moscow’s support for his reform programme and spoke out against any foreign intervention in the conflict, Russian and Syrian news agencies reported.

China accused western countries of stirring up civil war in Syria, and two Iranian warships docked at a Syrian naval base, underscoring rising international tensions over the near year-long crisis.

The ships, which docked at the port of Tartous on Saturday, were said to be providing training for Syrian naval forces, Iranian state TV reported.

With Iran already at odds with the US, Europe and Israel over its nuclear programme, the deployment was likely to add to western concerns that the Syria crisis could boil over into a regional conflict if it is not resolved soon.

Asked about the Iranian move at a briefing in Jerusalem, Dan Meridor, Israeli deputy prime minister, said Mr Assad was receiving generous support from Iran and the Hizbollah militant group, and that Russia and China had given him “a licence to kill”.

Meanwhile, Syria’s forces pressed on with their crackdown on the anti-Assad uprising, with opposition activists reporting five people killed in renewed shelling of an opposition-held district of Homs, and troops and militiamen blockading Hama. Both cities have been in the forefront of the revolt.

The crisis is entering an important week, with western and Arab powers due to meet at a conference in Tunisia on Friday to press Mr Assad to give up power, while he forges ahead with plans for a referendum on Sunday for a new constitution.

The referendum, which would lead to multi-party elections within 90 days, is part of what Mr Assad describes as a reform programme to address demands for more democracy.

The west and Syrian opposition figures have dismissed the plan as a joke, saying it is impossible to have a valid election amid the continuing repression.

Alexei Pushkov, head of the international affairs committee of Russia’s lower house of parliament, met Mr Assad in Damascus on Monday and affirmed Russia’s support for the plan. Moscow is Syria’s main arms supplier.

Mr Pushkov also stressed the need “to continue working for a political solution to the crisis based on dialogue between all concerned parties, without foreign intervention”, Sana, the state news agency, said.

Mr Assad, who shows no inclination to relinquish power, told Mr Pushkov Syria was being targeted by armed terrorist groups supported by foreign elements aiming to destabilise the country.

China, which sent an envoy to Damascus this weekend, also backs Mr Assad’s plan for a political solution and has appealed to government and opposition alike to halt the violence.

China’s Communist party newspaper, the People’s Daily, took the west to task in a commentary, saying: “If western countries continue to fully support Syria’s opposition, then in the end a large-scale civil war will erupt and there will be no way to thus avoid the possibility of foreign armed intervention.”...MORE...LINK

If U.S. invades Iran, Americans can kiss their way of life goodbye once and for all

From:
Consequences To Expect If The U.S. Invades Iran

(Alt-Market.com) -- by Brandon Smith --

...Exploding Oil Prices

The U.S. has had a ban on Iranian oil imports since 1979, however, Iran still supplies about 5% of the global oil market. This might not seem like much, but Iran also has the means and ability to shut down the Straight of Hormuz, which is one of two major petroleum choke points in the world. Around 17 million barrels of oil per day are shipped through the Straight of Hormuz, or about 20% of all oil traded worldwide.

In 2006, during the last major Iran war scare, experts predicted gasoline price increases in excess of $10 a gallon if Iran was invaded.

http://money.cnn.com/2006/02/07/news/international/iran_oil/

This would devastate the U.S. economy, which is already hanging by a thin thread. Iran has announced this past weekend it will cease all oil shipments to Britain and France in protest of their support of economic sanctions. This alone is causing oil to spike today. A global energy crisis will financially decimate average citizens who will have their savings sapped by extreme price inflation, not just in gasoline, but in all goods that require the use of gasoline in their production and shipping. If you like this idea, then by all means, support an invasion of Iran.

War Domino Effect

In January of 2010, I wrote an article for Neithercorp Press entitled “Will Globalists Trigger Yet Another World War”. In that article, I warned about the dangers of an invasion of Iran or Syria being used to foment a global conflict, in order to create a crisis large enough to distract the masses away from the international banker created economic collapse:

http://www.alt-market.com/neithercorp/press/2010/01/will-globalists-trigger-yet-another-world-war/

In 2006, Iran signed a mutual defense pact with its neighbor, Syria, which is also in the middle of its own turmoil and possible NATO intervention. Syria has strong ties to Russia, and even has a revamped Russian naval base off its coast, a fact rarely mentioned by the mainstream media. Both Russia and China have made their opposition clear in the case of any Western intervention in Iran or Syria. An invasion by the U.S. or Israel in these regions could quickly intensify into wider war between major world powers. If you like the idea of a world war which could eventually put you and your family in direct danger, then by all means, support an invasion of Iran.

Dollar Collapse

Make no mistake, the U.S. dollar is already on the verge of collapse, along with the U.S. economy. Bilateral trade agreements between BRIC and ASEAN nations are sprouting up everywhere the past couple months, and these agreements are specifically designed to end the dollar’s status as the world reserve currency. An invasion of Iran will only expedite this process. If global anger over the resulting chaos in oil prices doesn’t set off a dump of the dollar, the eventual debt obligation incurred through the overt costs of war will. Ron Paul has always been right; it doesn’t matter whether you think invasion is a good idea or not. We simply CANNOT afford it. America is bankrupt. Our only source of income is our ability to print money from thin air. Each dollar created to fund new wars brings our currency ever closer to its demise.

This combination of disastrous economic policy and disastrous foreign policy has actually been used before. Great Britain once sat in the position of economic authority that the U.S. sits in today, and the pound sterling was once considered the world reserve because it was required in the global trade of oil, just as the dollar is now. However, British intrigues in the Middle East, and more specifically in Egypt, led them into extreme debt. In the 1940’s and 1950’s, international banks led by America and France threatened to dump British Treasury Bonds in response to their efforts to dominate Middle Eastern oil. Does any of this sound familiar?

This ultimately led to considerable devaluation of the pound. In 1967, the death blow was finally delivered when Prime Minister Harold Wilson artificially reduced the British exchange rate by 14% overnight! Meaning, in the span of a single evening, British citizens lost 14% of their buying power, and every product they went out to buy the next day would cost them 14% more.

It would be practical to mention that the move to destroy the British pound came right in time for the implementation of new programs for the construction of the European Union, and the Euro, the new supranational currency which would later become the standard. The EU and the Euro never could have come about while the Pound Sterling remained a world reserve. Just another amazing coincidence I’m sure, and one that couldn’t possibly have any relation to what is happening to the dollar in 2012, right…?

So, if you like the idea of losing 14% or more of your buying power overnight, and having that financial loss blamed on the tides of war, rather than on the corporate bankers who actually created the mess, then by all means, support an invasion of Iran.

Civil Liberties Destroyed

Do you like being able to walk down the street without having to suffer through constant pat-downs by low wage brain-dead cretins in blue gloves? Does it make you feel good to know that if you are ever arrested, whether you are guilty or not, you are guaranteed by law to receive a fair trial by your peers in a civilian court with a lawyer by your side? Do you enjoy taking a long drive with the family without facing check points, and predator drones constantly overhead every time you put the top down to feel the wind in your hair? Don’t get too comfortable, folks! These “luxuries” will soon be a thing of the past, especially as the U.S. financial situation deteriorates and war escalates. Think of all the new threats the elites in our government can use to rationalize the usurpation of Constitutional protections when war with Iran, or Syria, or Russia, or China, or all of them at once, breaks out.

The term “terrorist” will take on a whole different dynamic. Great national dangers often facilitate broader definitions of who is and who is not an “enemy of the state”. Crisis gives wings to legislation like the NDAA. In this kind of despotic environment, no one, even those citizens who support the state in nearly all of its enterprises, is safe. Maybe you love the idea of war with Iran, but at the same time, hate the idea of having a TSA goon manhandling your wife or daughter in a train station or on a street corner. Good luck with that. Speaking out could be treated as disruption of national security measures. Off to the gulag with you!

The “greater good” somehow always entails the dissolution of civil liberties for the common man. Invariably, the establishment in power favors no one, save a highly connected few. Being pro-establishment does not necessarily protect you from a government given free reign to do whatever it pleases in wartime. In the end, everyone is fair game.

If this is the kind of America you want to live in, by all means, support an invasion of Iran.

If You Can’t See The Big Picture, You Can’t See A Thing…

The relentless drive for war in the Middle East is not about “spreading democracy”. It is not about terrorism. It is not about oil (at least for the most part). It is not about Israel (at least, not the Israeli people). It is not even about corporate profiteering by the Military Industrial Complex. War in the Middle East is about changing the way our country and our world operates, culturally, socially, financially, and politically. War opens doors to social re-engineering that could never be accomplished otherwise. War creates fear, panic, rage, and allows dystopian fallacies to reign supreme. War, unjust and dishonorable war, makes countries weak, and ripe for violent change.

Iran is not a threat to our way of life, and never has been. But, war in Iran could easily upset the core of our entire country, and leave us wayward strangers in the land we were born.

While much of the rhetoric of preemptive invasion that America has been awash in these past few months is carefully crafted and disseminated by government entities whose intentions are far from honest, its effectiveness is mute without the helping hand of a thoughtless subsection of the public. Every decade or so, a new generation of idiot spawn comes of age to be willingly sacrificed on the chopping block of globalist conquest. This new decade brings with it the promise of not just more of the same, but perhaps the most costly tithe to the gods of war ever made in our country’s history. This is not our fight. This is a fight we are being conned into undertaking for the profit of others, and thus, it is a fight we cannot win. Perhaps when the blind mobs of this nation feel the abrupt sting of their foolishness in their narrow day-to-day existence, they will finally understand...MORE...LINK

Modern U.S. ruled by "elite" of left-right psychopaths preying upon average Americans like wolves upon sheep

From:

(YouTube.com) -- by TruthNeverTold --

A gaggle of leftists, Zionists, corporatists and other special interest gangsters wanted Pat Buchanan fired by MSNBC, and of course got their way

From:
The New Blacklist—Pat Buchanan On His MNSBC Firing

(VDare.com) -- by Patrick J. Buchanan --

My days as a political analyst at MSNBC have come to an end.

After 10 enjoyable years, I am departing, after an incessant clamor from the left that to permit me continued access to the microphones of MSNBC would be an outrage against decency, and dangerous.

The calls for my firing began almost immediately with the Oct. 18 publication of " Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?"

A group called Color of Change, whose mission statement says that it "exists to strengthen Black America's political voice," claimed that my book espouses a "white supremacist ideology." Color of Change took particular umbrage at the title of Chapter 4, "The End of White America."

Media Matters parroted the party line: He has blasphemed!

A Human Rights Campaign that bills itself as America's leading voice for lesbians, bisexuals, gays and transgendered people said that Buchanan's "extremist ideas are incredibly harmful to millions of LBGT people around the world."

Their rage was triggered by a remark to NPR's Diane Rehm—that I believe homosexual acts to be "unnatural and immoral."

On Nov. 2, Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League, who has sought to have me censored for 22 years, piled on.

"Buchanan has shown himself, time and again, to be a racist and an anti-Semite," said Foxman. Buchanan "bemoans the destruction of white Christian America" and says America's shrinking Jewish population is due to the "collective decision of Jews themselves."

Well, yes, I do bemoan what Newsweek's 2009 cover called "The Decline and Fall of Christian America" and editor Jon Meacham described as "The End of Christian America." After all, I am a Christian.

And what else explains the shrinkage of the U.S. Jewish population by 6 percent in the 1990s and its projected decline by another 50 percent by 2050, if not the "collective decision of Jews themselves"?

Let error be tolerated, said Thomas Jefferson, "so long as reason is left free to combat it." What Foxman and ADL are about in demanding that my voice be silenced is, in the Jeffersonian sense, intrinsically un-American.

Consider what it is these people are saying.

They are saying that a respected publisher, St. Martin's, colluded with me to produce a racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic book, and CNN, Fox News, C-SPAN, Fox Business News and the 150 radio shows on which I appeared failed to detect its evil and helped to promote a moral atrocity.

If my book is racist and anti-Semitic, how did Sean Hannity, Erin Burnett, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs and Ralph Nader miss that? How did Charles Payne, African-American host on Fox radio, who has interviewed me three times, fail to detect its racism?

How did Michael Medved miss its anti-Semitism?

In a 2009 cover story in the Atlantic, "The End of White America?" from which my chapter title was taken, professor Hua Hsu revels in the passing of America's white majority. At Portland State, President Clinton got a huge ovation when he told students that white Americans will be a minority in 2050.

Is this writer alone forbidden to broach the subject?

That homosexual acts are unnatural and immoral has been doctrine in the Catholic Church for 2,000 years.

Is it now hate speech to restate traditional Catholic beliefs?

Documented in the 488 pages and 1,500 footnotes of "Suicide of a Superpower" is my thesis that America is Balkanizing, breaking down along the lines of religion, race, ethnicity, culture and ideology, and that Western peoples are facing demographic death by century's end.

Are such subjects taboo? Are they unfit for national debate?

So it would seem. MSNBC President Phil Griffin told reporters, "I don't think the ideas that (Buchanan) put forth (in his book) are appropriate for the national dialogue, much less on MSNBC."...MORE...LINK

Chris Moore comments:

I don't view the agenda Buchanan describes as so much about race as it is about driving a final nail in the coffin of Greco-Christian Western civilization in order to replace Christian moral authority with Zionist moral authority -- which ironically is the most racist enterprise on earth.

From the perspective of the Zionists, the destruction of Whites, just as is the current destruction of Arabs in the endless Mideast wars, is merely collateral damage on the road to asserting Jewish supremacy; they may take special satisfaction in the destruction of Whites due to the historic "anti-Semitism" of Western civilization (read: intolerance for the murderous Zionist racket), but their chief motive is the assertion and imposition of "the Chosen" at the top of the political and socio-economic pyramid.

And this agenda isn't just coming from the Zionists; multi-culturalism is a product of corporatist Wall Street and the corrupt State Capitalist status-quo as much as it is of left-wing and Zionist special interests, because the corporatists want to maximize their profits by growing the American consumer market to its full potential by importing millions upon millions of consumers from whatever culture is available.

Hence, for example, we see MSNBC's corporatist President Phil Griffin declaring that Buchanan's point of view is innappropriate not only for MSNBC, but for any "national dialogue" whatsover.

Thank you corporatist commissar Griffin for unilaterally deciding, along with your clique of politically correct thugs, what national dialogue will be allowed, and what national dialogue will be taboo.

So much for democracy and the marketplace of ideas.

This is where Pat Buchanan is off base implying this is entirely an agenda of the left; without greedy corporatists con artists like Griffin giving them the nod, the left would never have come so far in its own degenerate racketeering.

A whore is a whore, and it really doesn't matter if they're left-wing culural Marxist whores or right-wing corporatist whores; their highest principle is grabbing as much largesse and filthy lucre as they possibly can for themselves and their gang in order to feather their own nests, regardless of the long-term consequences to the country or the civilization.

So how can we easily identify these whores? Easy...anyone willing to jump into bed with the Zionists.

At this point, its a safe rule of thumb that anyone in bed with the Zionists, from far-left to neocon right, is corrupt and depraved to the core, and should be regarded as a mortal enemy not only of Western civilization, but of democracy, and the rule of law, as well.

Tear out the Zionist linchipin, and the rest of this gaggle of gangsters will fall like a house of cards; refuse to tear out the Zionist linchpin, and Western civilization is finished.

It's truly as simple as that.

Zionists, leftists and neocons -- brothers in arms for the fiat currency Ponzi scheme and the endless wars necessary to prop it up

(By Chris Moore) -- Some people criticize Ron Paul's agenda of returning the U.S. to the gold standard because it will simply enrich those who already have the gold. But what the gold standard amounts to is a simple mechanism of controlling runaway government spending and preventing fiat currencies (uncontrolled government money printing not backed by anything tangible). It is the principle of the gold standard that is most important.

Of course, Zionists and leftists both LOVE bankster fiat currencies and Big Government. Zionists love Big Government because Jews don't proselytize, yet they want a mechanism to control the masses, hence Zionist-infiltrated and controlled Big Government is their answer. How do they get control? By controlling the purse strings -- the Federal Reserve.

Leftists love Big Government and fiat currencies because they have been brainwashed by Marxists Zionists, and because they want to live in a fantasy world where money grows on trees, and there are no consequences to massive government spending -- a big chunk of which is spent on leftists and their useless programs. Fiat currencies provide them that, but there is always a cost.

That cost has finally hit us, and it is the endless wars necessary to prop up the dollar hegemony that sustains the fiat currency Ponzi scheme system.

This is how leftists have sold their souls to their Zionist masters, right along with the neolibs and the neocons.

Only Ron Paul and the Ron Paul revolution have the principles, character and courage to stand up to the Zionists and their left-right demoniac accomplices in fiat currency crime.

It is the principle behind the gold standard, not the gold standard itself, that is most important. If the American people, American industry and the American economy hadn't been plundered by fiat currency-pushing Big Government, Zionists, neocons, leftists and Wall Street-bankster State Capitalist corporatists, and the restraints of the Constitution had been followed instead of flouted, we wouldn't be where we are today.

You don't get out of a hole be digging deeper and deeper.

Like so many warmongering opportunists before them, Israel-firsters eager to rule out containment, rush U.S. to war

From:
Neocon Arguments For Iran War Are Tired Cliche

(Foreign Policy Matters) -- by M.J. Ronsenberg --

Writing in today's Washington Post, columnist Fareed Zakaria does a terrific job destroying some arguments for war with Iran. He does it by, of all things, citing history.

First, Zakaria takes apart the argument, often made by Israeli Minister of Defense Ehud Barak, that the "window" to stop Iran from developing a nuclear capability is closing and that rushing to war — without, of course, knowing how a war would play out — is essential. Zakaria explains that this is one of the oldest justifications for war in the book:
The most famous example, of course, was Germany's decision to start what became World War I. The German General Staff believed that Russia — its archenemy — was rearming on a scale that would soon nullify Germany's superior military strength. The Germans believed that within two years — by 1916 — Russia would have a significant, and perhaps unbeatable, strategic advantage.

As a result, when turmoil began in the Balkans in June 1914, Germany decided to act while it had the advantage. To stop Russia from entering a "zone of immunity," Germany invaded France (Russia's main ally) and Belgium, which forced British entry into the war, thus setting in motion a two-front European war that lasted four years and resulted in more than 37 million casualties.
Zakaria then cites the Israeli argument that Americans cannot understand their fears because "Iran is an existential threat to them."
But in fact we can understand because we have gone through a very similar experience ourselves. After World War II, as the Soviet Union approached a nuclear capability, the United States was seized by a panic that lasted for years. Everything that Israel says about Iran now, we said about the Soviet Union. We saw it as a radical, revolutionary regime, opposed to every value we held dear, determined to overthrow the governments of the Western world in order to establish global communism. We saw Moscow as irrational, aggressive and utterly unconcerned with human life. After all, Joseph Stalin had just sacrificed a mind-boggling 26 million Soviet lives in his country's struggle against Nazi Germany.
Then there was the mad rush to war in Iraq:
Many in Washington in March 2003 insisted that we could not wait for nuclear inspectors to keep at their work in Iraq because we faced a closing window — the weather was going to get too hot by June and July to send in U.S. forces. As a result, we rushed into a badly planned military invasion and occupation in which soldiers had to endure combat in Iraq for nine long and very hot years.
In short, millions have been killed in wars that were based on faulty premises and lies. Happily, on the other hand, the ultimate war (a U.S.-Soviet war that might have ended civilization) did not come to pass because policymakers on both sides decided to contain the respective nuclear threat rather than blow up the enemy.

It is unlikely that Senators Joseph Lieberman (I-CT), Bob Casey (D-PA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) gave much thought to these historical precedents when they decided to introduce a resolution — promoted by AIPAC — that rules out "containing" the Iran nuclear threat in favor of going to war.

Their resolution is best described on Lieberman's website: "All options must be on the table when it comes to Iran — except for one, and that is containment."...MORE...LINK

Not your father's Republican Party: Youthful, honest, earnest, and enthusiastic Ron Paul army looks to take over corrupt, crusty, doddering GOP

From:
Ron Paul Is Secretly Taking Over The GOP — And It's Driving People Insane

(Business Insider) -- by Grace Wyler --

By now, it is clear that the Maine caucuses were a complete mess.

Evidence is mounting that Mitt Romney's 194-vote victory over Ron Paul was prematurely announced, if not totally wrong. Washington County canceled their caucus on Saturday on account of three inches of snow (hardly a blizzard by Maine standards), and other towns that scheduled their caucuses for this week have been left out of the vote count. Now, it looks like caucuses that did take place before Feb. 11 have also been left out of final tally...

The Maine Republican Party won't decide which votes it will count until the executive committee meets next month. But Wead points out that even if Mitt Romney holds on to his slim lead, it will be a Pyrrhic victory.

"He will have disenfranchised all of these people," Wead said. "It could be a costly victory — it is a mistake."

The (alleged) bias against Paul may also be the product of an organic opposition to the libertarian Congressman and his army of ardent fans. Paul volunteers tend to be young and relatively new to party politics, and their presence has many state GOP stalwarts feeling territorial.

"People feel threatened — they don't want to see a bunch of kids who may have voted for Barack Obama take over," Wead said. "They feel a sense of ownership over the party — but there has to be an accommodation."

But state party machinations are already starting to backfire. The Paul campaign believes it has won the majority of Maine's delegates — and the perceived election fraud has galvanized Paul supporters to demand their votes be counted in the state's straw poll 'beauty contest.'

Caucus chaos has also proved to be fertile ground for Paul's quiet takeover of the Republican Party. Since 2008, the campaign and Paul's Campaign for Liberty PAC have made a concerted effort to get Paul sympathists involved in the political process. Now, tumult in state party organizations has allowed these supporters to rise up the ranks.

"We like strong party leadership when it comes from us," Paul campaign chair Jesse Benton told Business Insider. "Our people work very hard to make sure that their voice is heard."

The fruits of this labor are evident in Iowa, where Paul's former state campaign co-chair A.J. Spiker was just elected as the new chairman of the Iowa Republican Party. Spiker replaces Matt Strawn, who stepped down over this year's Iowa caucus dustup. In Nevada, the state chair has also resigned over caucus disaster, and several Ron Paul supporters are well-positioned to step up to fill the void. These new leaders not only expand Paul's influence at the state level, but also help protect Paul and his hard-won delegates from state party machinations as the delegate-selection process moves to district and state conventions, and eventually the Republican National Convention this summer.

"We are always trying to bring people into the party," Benton said. "I think that is a very positive thing for Republicans. Ron is the person who can build the Republican base, bring new blood into the party. That's how you build the party."

In Maine, the caucus disaster has made the state GOP prime for a Ron Paul takeover. And that means that Paul's hard-won delegates will be protected as the delegate selection process...MORE...LINK

Chris Moore comments:

Can the GOP be salvaged? I think it's possible if the Israel-first neocons, the Judeo-Christian Zionist charlatans, the Globalists gangsters, and the Wall Street banksters and corporatist money-worshippers who put filthy lucre over any and all principle are all eighty-sixed.

Remember, it was Lincoln's Republican Party that put an end to slavery, Zionism is the new slavery, only on a global basis, the Democratic Party is owned and operated by Jewish Zionists for their own greedy, elitist, neo-fascist, self-serving ends, so a party willing to go to war with Zionism on behalf of the vast majority of the People (and the vast majority of humanity) could go a long way in a Zionist-corrupted America teetering on the brink of self-destruction.

It's time to take off the gloves. The fact that there is no populist, America-first party that is righteously grounded in opposition to Zionism and Globalism, both of which are racist, means the vast majority of Americans are going completely un-represented, and don't even know that they're being put on the road to serfdom.

Look at Israel, an institutionally Jewish supremacist apartheid state. Look at these wars for Israel and the larger Zionist/Globalist racket: all predicated on the racist enterprise of enslaving humanity to the elitist, bankster-corporatist cartel. (Actually, in many ways they're misanthropic, given that most Whites are to be enslaved as well -- a concept that racist Zionist Jews love as much as they love the idea of slaughtering Arabs.)

Right now, the two parties are both only representing their precious Zionist, Globalist and Corporatist interests, and the elites of each have a gentleman's agreement not to call out the other on it's un-patriotic, anti-American treachery.

Once that hurdle is overcome, and these, Israel-first elites are called out for their treason, the flood gates will open.

That scares the left-right establishment to death, hence all of these totalitarian "homeland security" initiatives.

This is where the party of Lincoln's noble history of taking on a monstrously racist enterprise is key. God knows the Zionist-owned Democratic Party, itself contrived primarily of gangsters and whores, will never lift a finger in real opposition to its organized Jewish masters.

Vast new powers of NDAA smack of Bolshevik Russia's war against its own citizens

The NDAA and the Militarization of America

(AntiWar.com) -- by Carl Mirra --

The National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA) was passed by Congress and signed into law by the president on New Year’s Eve of 2011. Activists and other critics charge that the NDAA authorizes the indefinite military detention of U.S. citizens, but supporters counter that the law entails no new powers of detention for the federal government.

In a sense, both sides are right. Insofar as it affirms “existing law” as the basis for federal detention policy, the NDAA does not itself dramatically expand the government’s power to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely. The bad news, however, is that the government has essentially already claimed this authority, and the NDAA will only provide more legal cover for the executive branch to further undermine habeas corpus.

Citizens Exempted?

Proponents of the NDAA argue that section 1021 (e) exempts U.S. citizens from indefinite detention. The relevant text reads:
Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect the existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.
But critics, including former federal judges Abner Mikva, William Sessions, and John Gibbons, are equally vigorous in their disagreement. The NDAA, they write, “codifies methods such as indefinite detention without charge and mandatory military detention and make[s] them applicable to virtually anyone … including U.S. citizens.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is one of the few supporters of the NDAA to plainly admit that “the statement of authority to detain does apply to American citizens, and it designates the world as the battlefield, including the homeland.”

Indeed, section 1021 (e) was added after the voting down of an amendment by Sen. Mark Udall (D-N.M.), which would have made it clear that Americans were not subject to detention. As many critics noted, Congress could have stated something to the effect that, “Nothing in this act shall be construed as authorizing the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens.” It did not. That a clear statement to protect U.S. citizens was defeated in favor of a contested one strongly suggests that the NDAA does not offer safeguards for citizens.

There was, in other words, an opportunity to clear up this mess, but instead Congress left the door open for the indefinite detention of citizens.

For this reason, President Obama expressed “serious reservations” regarding the NDAA. He assured Americans in a signing statement that “my administration will interpret section 1021” in a way that “complies with the Constitution.” However, the president did not say that NDAA protects American citizens, but only that he will “interpret” it as such. As the noted law professor Jonathan Turley explains, the president does not deny that he has the authority to detain citizens — only that he will not exercise it.

“Existing Law”

Even the president, then, admits that the “existing law” provision in 1021 (e) is subject to interpretation, rendering it vague to the point of being meaningless. Existing law is, at best, under dispute with respect to the detention of U.S. citizens. The president has, after all, already asserted his authority not only to detain citizens without trial, but to assassinate them as well.

Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), who drafted the NDAA, disclosed in a floor statement that the “existing law” clause in section 1021 (e) fails to insulate citizens from detention without charge. “It makes clear what we have been saying,” he said, that the bill does “not affect existing law relative to the right of the executive branch to capture and detain a citizen. … We think the law is clear in Hamdi that there is no bar to this nation holding one of its own citizens as an enemy combatant.”

Levin is referring to Hamdi v. Rumsfeld, a 2004 Supreme Court ruling that found there is “no bar” to indefinite detention of U.S. citizens as long as they are granted some limited habeas rights. Levin is arguing that it is the Supreme Court’s interpretation of “existing law,” not the NDAA’s, that permits indefinite detention.

It would be more accurate to say that although the Supreme Court has yet to fully resolve this issue, the NDAA ensures that future detentions will face fewer obstacles in the Court. A Congressional Research Service study into the matter concludes that the “plurality” of Supreme Court decisions “affirm the president’s powers to detain ‘enemy combatants,’ including those who are U.S. citizens, as part of the necessary force authorized by Congress.”...MORE...LINK

Gee, I wonder why Israel-first, Zionist-dominated mainstream media is taking the lead in warmongering against Iran?

From:
U.S. media takes the lead on Iran

The propaganda over The Grave Persian Threat is as cartoonish as it was when directed at Iraq in 2002
(Salon.com) -- by Glenn Greenwald --

Many have compared the coordinated propaganda campaign now being disseminated about The Iranian Threat to that which preceded the Iraq War, but there is one notable difference. Whereas the American media in 2002 followed the lead of the U.S. government in beating the war drums against Saddam, they now seem even more eager for war against Iran than the U.S. government itself, which actually appears somewhat reluctant. Consider this highly illustrative, one-minute report yesterday from the nightly broadcast of NBC News with Brian Williams, by the network’s Chief Pentagon Correspondent Jim “Mik” Miklaszewski, which packs multiple misleading narratives into one short package:

We’re told that if the U.S. ends up in a war with Iran, then “the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet would be the world’s first line of defense“: because Iran is threatening the entire world, and the U.S. would be defending “the world” from this grave Persian menace. Then there’s the ominous claim that “Iranian leaders have threatened all-out war”: but that’s “if Israel launches air strikes against Iran’s nuclear program,” which would already itself be “all-out war.” The NBC story — which begins with video shots of Iranians in lab coats lurking around complex, James-Bond-villain-like nuclear-ish machines — ends with twenty seconds of scary video footage of Iranian missiles being launched, accompanied with this narration: “U.S. officials warn that Iran’s massive stockpile of ballistic missiles is the more serious threat”; after all, “within just the past few days, Iranian leaders [cue video of a scary, ranting Ahmedinijad] have threatened that if attacked, they would launch those missiles at U.S. targets.”

It’s just remarkable to watch the American media depict Iran as the threatening, aggressive party here. Literally on a daily basis, political and media figures in both the U.S. and Israel openly threaten to attack Iran and debate how the attack should happen with a casualness that most people use to contemplate what to have for lunch. The U.S. has orchestrated devastating and always-escalating sanctions which, by design, are wrecking the Iranian economy, collapsing its currency, and generating serious hardship for its 75 million citizens. The U.S. military has that country almost completely encircled. The U.S. military behemoth, and Israel’s massive nuclear stockpile and sophisticated weaponry, make the Iranian military by comparison look almost as laughable as Saddam’s. Iran’s scientists have been serially murdered on its own soil, their facilities bombarded with sophisticated cyber attacks, and dissident groups devoted to the overthrow of their government (ones even the U.S. designates as Terrorists) have been armed, trained and funded by Israel while leading American politicians openly shill for them in exchange for substantial payments.

Yet the Manichean narrative driving this NBC report is par for the media course: Iran’s aggression must be contained, and it is leaving the U.S. and Israel with no choice but to pre-emptively attack it. Most telling is how Iran is continuously depicted as though they are the ones issuing threats of aggression even though all of their threats are retaliatory: if you attack us, we will attack back...MORE...LINK

Chris Moore comments:

Of course MSM is "out in front" of the government in terms of warmongering, because MSM today is wholly dominated by Israel-first, Diaspora Zionists, and Zionism is the spearhead for neo-fascism. In slight contrast, even though it too is Zionist-dominated, the two-party regime in Washington can't afford to be as openly cavalier and reckless with the lives of the goyim U.S. soldiers as the Jewish-owned media can.

This generalized, elite Jewish supremacy is also why Jewry is the foremost financial beneficiary of the neo-fascist racket in America. For example, at least 35% of the Forbes 400 are Jewish, even though Jews are under 2% of the population.

And that disproportionate Jewish wealth no doubt extends across the entire 1%, meaning just as Jewry comprises at least 35% of the Forbes 400, it also comprises at least 35% of the 1%.

Given this Jewish supremacist state of affairs among the contemporary U.S. "elite," is it any surprise that the 1% in America is today hogging a larger share of national income than at any time in U.S. history?

Of course not. Zionist Jewry has nothing but contempt and hatred for the goyim "cattle" it is currently and perpetually wringing, manipulating, robbing and slaughtering, whether they're Americans, U.S. soldiers, Palestinians, Arabs, Christians...it makes no difference.

And then Zionist Jews profess to wonder why Jewry has been so "persecuted" down through history. The arrogance, chutzpah and insatiable greed of these people and their accomplices is truly unbelievable. It actually borders on insane.

Did they really think they were going to get away with it indefinitely? Only those who believe in Jewish fairy tales (e.g. Zionist Jews, Judeo Christian Zionists, Judeophile liberal Zionists) could have possibly deluded themselves so completely, and for so very long.

I'm not sure if all these deluded, Israel-first Zionists and their accomplices and lackeys should be deported to Israel, or checked into the loony bin.
