Muslim Brotherhood serves a crucial Egyptian social and humanitarian function, says head of U.S. intelligence

WASHINGTON – US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said during a House Intelligence Committee hearing Thursday that Egypt’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood movement was "a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam."

Clapper, who heads the organization commanding 16 American intelligence and investigation agencies, told the committee that the Muslim Brotherhood "have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera….. There is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally.”

He said that as opposed to Hezbollah, which also provides social services and medical care, the Brotherhood in Egypt runs 29 hospitals ”not under the guise of an extremist agenda.”

He said that the group fills a vacuum caused by the absence of government services, but added, “It is not necessarily with a view to promoting violence or overthrow of the state.”...MORE...LINK

You mean a conservative religious organization is at the vanguard of humanitarian efforts in Egypt? You mean the "secular" Egyptian state long backed by the Swindlers on the Potomac has always been a mere instrument of oppression and self-serving corruption, while the religious folk that the Zionists and liberals blacklist as "terrorists" did the heavy lifting of actually providing for the crucial day-to-day needs of the downtrodden?

It's not just the Egyptian people that have been swindled, exploited and abused by a pseudo-"secular" government that religiously serves its own interests and has been deep into bed with organized Zionist Jewry for decades, I'll tell you that.

Average Americans, too, are increasingly realizing the same leviathan that financed the Satanic Mubarak for all those years has been methodically exploiting and manipulating them as well, only not quite as blatantly as the Pharaoh of the Nile.

These fake "secularists"...I have to wonder if beneath it all they are in fact devil worshippers.

I'm glad to see there are still some nationalists in U.S. intelligence who are willing to tell the truth instead of bow to the corrupt and warmongering Zionist and liberal-globalist political forces that were in bed with Mubarak for all those decades, providing one another succor.
